Prince Harry and Meghan Markle love to live the life of billionaires but there is just one hitch to that lifestyle, they apparently can’t actually afford it. So how do they do it?
The pair quit the Royal Family in 2020 to relocated to California where other reports have claimed they rely on their friends to help finance their luxurious lives and now some royal experts have offered more credence to that claim.
Lady Colin Campbell paints a picture of Markle being some sort of narcissist who only chose to marry Prince Harry for his wealth, and that she remains bitter to this day as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, repeatedly has successful ventures.
“[Meghan] blames everybody else for her errors,” Campbell told GB News. “I’ve been told that she is enraged because no matter what she does, it flops, and no matter what Catherine does, it succeeds. “That’s infuriating for her. Meghan came into the royal family with the expectation that she’d be able to milk them as if they were the fatted calf, and that she was going to be able to end up having a billionaire lifestyle.
“She has a billionaire lifestyle without the money. They’re quickly running into serious problems financially. Every deal collapses, and all these phantasmagorical figures that they were bandying about will never reach their bank account.” Markle had earned $50,000 per episode on the hit Peacock drama, Suits. As she starred in 134 episodes overall, that sees her earning a minimum of $5.4m. That’s also prior to any endorsements from sponsors too, so she was definitely not shy on money to try to kick off a business venture.
Spotify hated working with the pair
Markle and Prince Harry did look to be heading to success when they announced a partnership with the popular audio streaming platform, Spotify, but that didn’t last long before ending.
According to Us Weekly, the streaming giant was supposed to release a statement confirming how good it was to work with Markle but this never happened. Although we do not know the exact reason for why the partnership was terminated, an executive from the company had little good to say about them and accused them of being swindlers.
