Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has rolled up to Arrowhead Stadium on a day that could see his team clinch an eighth straight AFC West title and a playoff spot. Kelce arrived wearing a KC varsity jacket and matched that with a Santa hat in celebration of Christmas Day.
As he walked by reporters heading into the locker room, Kelce wished them a Merry Christmas and commented about the early start time. ‘I’m not used to getting up this early man,’ Kelce said. ‘Beginning of my career started like this, not right now.’ Other members of the Chiefs strolled in dressed for the occasion as well, including running back Isaiah Pacheco. If Kansas City is able to win this game against the Las Vegas Raiders, the team will win an eighth consecutive division title – good for the second longest streak of its kind, only behind New England’s 11 season streak from 2009-2019.
Earlier this season, the Chiefs demolished the Raiders on the road by a scoreline of 31-17. Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift is expected to be in attendance for this game and has reportedly landed in KC. Kickoff for the game is set for 1:00 ET, 12:00 local time.
