As if the problems of the Philadelphia Eagles were not enough with the strong rumors of internal disputes, broken locker room and having lost 5 of their last 6 games, now is added what seems to be a true sign that, indeed, things are not going well in the city of brotherly love.

Philadelphia Eagles suffer double injury scare vs Giants as QB Jalen Hurts' finger appears to POP OUT after A.J. Brown limped from the field with a knee injury

Their star receiver A.J. Brown, who in recent weeks has been in the eye of the storm for alleged friction with head coach Nick Sirianni, became a trend on social networks after he deleted all Eagles-related content from his Instagram account, in addition to having deleted his X account (formerly Twitter), @1kalwaysopen_. On Instagram, Brown has 625k followers, but left only 6 posts and not a single mention of his relationship with the Jeffrey Lurie-owned team. This is not good news for the Eagles, who visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night in the final game of the Super Wild Card Weekend round.

A few weeks ago, A.J. Brown found himself in the middle of a rather peculiar controversy after refused to comment to reporters at his locker, stating, “I got nothing nice to say.” This sparked questions about his feelings towards the team’s performance and his relationship with Sirianni. The speculation evolved into insults on Brown’s social media feeds, where he is known to spend a significant amount of time.

Brown has been dealing with his mental health
In response, Brown posted a 71-second monologue by Kevin Durant on Twitter, lamenting unfair media coverage throughout his career. It’s important to understand that Brown is a sensitive person who has publicly acknowledged dealing with suicidal thoughts and depression in 2021.

He has been open about his mental health struggles, a common issue among professional athletes. His former teammate Kevin Byard emphasized the delicate balance of emotions in sports and how A.J. Brown’s emotional nature can be misconstrued as immaturity. So their recent move to delete from their social media accounts any relationship with Philadelphia seems to indicate that the relationship within the team is more than cracked and does not bode well for them in their upcoming Playoff game.
