Olivia Dunne has revealed that Taylor Swift is her dream Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partner.
Dunne made this known during the premiere event for the new Amazon Prime series The Money Game – LSU, where she and other LSU athletes discussed their ideal NIL collaborations.
“The Swiftie in me is saying Taylor Swift,” Dunne said.
While a partnership with the pop icon might seem ambitious, it’s not entirely out of reach for Dunne. She has already worked with Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
In June, Dunne teamed up with Kelce for a promotional shoot for one of her numerous endorsements, Accelerator Energy. This connection hints that a future collaboration with Swift could be a possibility.
Whether or not a partnership with Swift comes to fruition, Dunne has made a significant impact through her NIL deals since the NCAA changed its guidelines in 2021.
With an estimated $9.5 million earned from various brand endorsements, she is one of the top-earning college athletes, turning her gymnastics career and online presence into a lucrative venture.
In an interview with the New York Post, Dunne reflected on her future plans after completing her final year of college eligibility this fall.
“Because that’s sometimes half the battle. And it’s very important to capitalize on your NIL while you’re in college if you’re a female because there’s not a lot of professional leagues after college for most women’s sports.
“So I definitely want to do something [in NIL] overall, after I’m done at LSU. And hopefully, expand beyond LSU and help educate people and just help girls out. I’ve always loved sports. So definitely something in the sports realm.”
