Taylor Swift fans are wondering if the “So High School” songstress will make an appearance at Travis Kelce’s game this weekend as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
The game will kick off at Arrowhead Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 8. But sadly for the Chiefs tight end, Swift isn’t expected to attend. Instead, Swift, 34, will be busy performing a concert in Vancouver on Sunday night, marking her very last show as part of the Eras Tour.
Since starting the tour back in 2023, the “Cruel Summer” singer has played over 150 shows in 5 different continents, with each performance spanning nearly two decades of her music and running for 3 and 1/2 hours straight.
Kelce, 35, has been in attendance for as many Eras Tour shows as he could be, including some of Swift’s stops in Ireland, France, Argentina, Singapore, Australia, and a handful of dates in the U.S., plus others. He even made his Eras Tour stage debut during one of Swift’s concerts in London, England, where he surprised the crowd by taking part of the choreography during The Tortured Poets Department set.
But even though neither of the two lovers will be able to physically support each other for their respective events this weekend, there’s no question that they will be with each other in spirit. Swift has already supported Kelce at a number of games in between her tour stops this season, in addition to the 13 Chiefs games she attended last season, including the Super Bowl.
But even without his good luck charm, the athlete and the rest of his Chiefs teammates will be hoping to secure another win to supplement their already nearly-perfect record. A victory over the Chargers would bring their record to 12-1.
Certainly we can assume Swift will be keeping “the guy on the Chiefs” in her heart while she brings this era of her career to a bittersweet end.
