Nicole, who dated the Chiefs star on and off from 2017 to 2022, initially deleted her social media after the offensive posts emerged. According to screenshots that circulated online, Nicole appeared to rant against a ‘dumb fat Mexican h**’ and claimed in another post that: ‘Asian ppl rude as f***’.

And in a different instance, Nicole also used a homophobic slur and threatened to ‘smack the hell outta’ gay people if they act ‘bold.’ On Thursday, however, she took to Instagram to apologize for her remarks, saying they were ‘ignorant, hurtful and completely wrong.’

‘I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the hurtful tweets I posted so many years ago,’ she wrote on her story. ‘Seeing them resurface last week has been incredibly difficult, and reading them now, I’m ashamed that I ever thought or spoke that way. They were ignorant, hurtful and completely wrong.

‘The woman I am today would never use those words or express those kinds of views. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how cruel and harmful online hate can be, and I would never want to add to that world of pain in any form. I have since deleted those tweets and my X account entirely, because I refuse to keep that energy alive or contribute to a cycle of hate.

She continued: ‘I take full responsibility for what I posted, and I’m truly sorry to anyone I may have hurt. My heart, values, and perspective are completely rooted in empathy, love, and respect for others. I can’t change the past, but I will continue showing through my actions who I’ve become and what I stand for today.’

The posts were made in 2010, and resurfaced on X after fans were convinced that Nicole’s Halloween costume was a slight at Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Nicole dressed up as Toni Braxton and recreated the music video for her 2000 hit ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me.’

In the video, Nicole was seen miming along to the lyrics: ‘Did you know about us back then? Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?’
